Lanna Golf Course, covering an area of 700 rai, is conveniently located 10 minutes from the town centre of Chiang Mai and is within the Lanna Sports Center. There are 3 nine-hole courses. The first and second nine fairways are tree-lined and fairly long while the third nine has six of its holes within the race track and short. Towards the west, One can get a beautiful view of the famous Doi Suthep temple. Accuracy is the key word for a good score at this beautiful golf course. As golf is a popular past time in Thailand, the course can be quite crowded from afternoon onwards. If you would like to ensure of getting a slot and not be disappointed, you can book your tee-time at least 24 hours in advance. However they will levy a charge of 40 bahts per person which is non refundable. F&B is reasonable. You can have a meal of say fried noodles and a can of soft drinks for around 100 Bahts. If you are staying in the town center, transportation there by taxi should not cost you more than 200 baht per direction.
